Introductory Workshops - Green your business in 2008

  • Do you know what Corporate Responsibility and sustainability really mean for your business ?
  • Do you want simple ideas for improving efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing your environmental & social profile?
  • Have you been meaning to get round to greening up your workplace, but haven’t quite started?
  • Are you getting left behind in terms of your contribution to tackling climate change?
  • Concerned about your supply chain – where and who are your goods coming from and the costs to your business?

If you have answered yes to any of these questions then our new introductory workshops are right for your company.

New for 2008, we are offering the following 2-3 hour, interactive workshops in partnership with SaltaSustainable,:

1.      The business case for sustainability – how to benefit commercially from improved environmental and social practices.
2.      An introduction to Corporate Responsibility (CR) and sustainable business practices – how to get started.
3.      Greening up your business – a guide to best practice & ideas to get you moving.
4.      Knowing the impact of your supply chain – improving efficiency, protecting human rights, reducing CO2 emissions.

Each workshop includes a new, no nonsense, introductory guide for ‘greening up’ your business, including helpful checklists and a directory of resources, suppliers and products.

These workshops are aimed primarily at decision makers – board members and senior managers – and can be adapted for other teams. They can be organised for a time of day to suit your business, at your convenience, in your place of work.  They are delivered by two experienced CR and sustainability professionals, with a client list from a wide range of sectors (e.g. travel, events, venues, universities, business consultancy, food and drinks, music and film production). Confidentiality is assured. Prices available on request.

“Sustainable business practices are not only compatible with, but supportive of, strategic competitive advantage” Jonathan Johnson, Executive Director, Applied Sustainability Center, University of Arkansas.
